Be La, on the other hand, is heartbroken and starts to hang out with her childhood best friend, Jake Kim Chong Mong, president of the Korean Students Association.

She is quickly befriended by many students at her new school, but she is intrigued by the mysterious Edward Long. After much research, Bé La eventually discovers that Long is a vampire, though he only consumes cockroach blood, and UVSA is no longer exist due to lack of students speaking Vietnamese. Soon after, two traditional Vietnamese vampires—James Phúc, and Victoria Diệp —arrive. Phúc attacks Bé La and bites her wrist, but Long arrives before Phúc can kill her. An epic fight begins, and perhaps, the longest fight ever in Vietnamese cinema.
